FAA F6F Hellcat JV105 Flyby

Giant scale RC model F6F Hellcat flying low and slow for the camera. It is marked in the colors of the Fleet Air Arm (FAA) of the Royal Navy. The serial number is JV-105, indicating it was among the second batch of Grumman F6F-3 Hellcats delivered to the Royal Navy (Serial Numbers: JV100-JV221). The EW on the side of the fuselage indicates it was one of the 20 aircraft from 800 Squadron that operated from the escort carrier, HMS Emperor.
