Shortly after the housing boom of 3911-3910 BC, much of the Neolithic village Hornstaad-Hörnle was devasted in a fire that destroyed grain storage bins and many homes. Despite attempts to rebuild and expand the area with less housing density, the village leaders have decided the time has come to relocate.
